Note the faceted hands that are diamond cut, and the clever use of black and white on the dial. A bit retro in style? possibly, but I've seldom seen anything like it before. The image here shows  a little bit of how the dial sparkles - not overwhelmingly so, but there's definitely a degree of dancing with the light.
